Where we came from
The Langton Arms Butchery is located on the Cossins' family farm in Tarrant Rawston. Seven years ago due to pollution regulations, we had to sell one of our dairy herds. Making use of a sad and redundant building, we decided to bring some new life and energy back into the farmyard by creating the butchery in this space. These days the butchery & shop are open to the public Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, Saturdays 9am to 2pm and also supplies seven local independent retailers.
We're now selling our own 21 day matured beef that is supplied direct from our Rawstar Herd, raised on our farm in the Tarrant Valley. Most of our beef animals are traditional breeds such as Aberdeen Angus and Herefords.
